I specialise in complex ear, hearing and balance, general ENT, paediatric ENT and facial skin cancer.
I’ve trained at numerous centres across the UK including Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and Gloucester to gain a wide exposure to ENT. Patients should therefore expect to receive from me, the latest contemporary treatments and techniques. Prior to ENT training I was a doctor in the British army which included a combat tour of Afghanistan. It was fantastic preparation for a career in surgery as I’m now calm under pressure, well organised and a good communicator.
I am the only surgeon in North Wales offering intracapsular tonsillectomy for children, ear drum repairs, cholesteatoma surgery and eustachian tube dilatation in both private and NHS practice.
Conditions I treat include:
Procedures I offer:
I see both adult and kids in clinic at Spire Yale Consulting rooms every Thursday afternoon and evening. Adult operating happens at Spire Yale Hospital just across the road.

The majority of the week I work in the NHS at the adjacent hospital, Wrexham Maelor. My NHS practice mirrors my private practice and I aim to provide the best possible care for both my NHS and Private practice. I run a balance clinic, perform all the complex ear surgery and perform a weekly facial skin cancer and reconstruction operating list at the Maelor. Achievements include introducing intracapsular tonsillectomy and eustachian tube dilatation to North Wales NHS available only at the Maelor.
My NHS secretary is Terri Lewis contactable on 03000 857860 or terri.lewis@wales.nhs.uk
